I want to be The Best at this

Because I use the term “The Best“, I want to be The Best at this, my brain rallies the troops, goes to work and brings that into existence in a matter of years — regardless of the discipline. That’s why I use the term “The Best“ — to rally the troops. That’s why I use it for you. I use it for you because I want more access to you. If you want to be the storyteller and the speaker and the presenter and the leader that I see you as, then you have to access more of your brain. Otherwise, you’re going to be sitting on the podium getting a silver medal or a bronze medal, and I’m just not interested in that. I just don’t really care about a silver medal. I don’t really care about bronze medalists. And the funny thing about it is, silver medalists and bronze medalists, they don’t care about them either. They didn’t want that. I guarantee you they didn’t want a bronze and they didn’t want a silver. They wanted gold. They wanted The Best. The minute those cameras turn off, they take that medal off of their neck and they put it in a black bag in the darkness. They zip that bag up, never to be seen until years later, when their mom or their spouse hangs that medal on the wall. They didn’t want the silver and they didn’t want the bronze. That’s how we were created. That’s how this community was created.

30 “If Statements” in Life Worth Learning

Here are 30 “if statements” worth learning if you have the intentions of leading a more productive life. If I am what I have and if I lose what I have, who then am I?
– Erich Fromm.

  1. If you don’t understand the product or service, don’t buy it until you do.
  2. If you do not take ownership of your actions, your actions will eventually own you.
  3. If you are not saving at least 10% of your salary, you are not saving enough.
  4. If you talk too much, people will stop listening.  If you don’t talk enough, people will never hear your point of view.
  5. If you are lazy, you will fail.  Laziness will always overshadow your true potential.
  6. If you hate your job, you also hate half of the time you spend on this planet.
  7. If you are not investing (120 minus your age) percent of your savings in the stock market, you are giving up thousands of dollars over the course of your lifetime.
  8. If you don’t finish what you start, your success rate will always be zero.
  9. If you don’t consume enough liquids, you will never be healthy.
  10. If your monthly debt payments exceed 40% of your total income, you will go broke if you don’t fix your spending habits promptly.
  11. If you avoid your problems, your problems will steer the course of your life.
  12. If something sounds too good to be true, it is too good to be true.
  13. If you are buying a brand new car every 3-5 years, stop!  You are wasting your money.
  14. If you don’t keep up with important current events, you will look like an idiot in front of others.
  15. If you back-up on a freeway off-ramp, you increase your chances of having an accident by about 1000%.  Go to the next exit and turn around.
  16. If you are not learning something new every day, you are wasting away days of your life.
  17. If you threaten to quit your job, even if it’s a subtle suggestion, you better be ready to leave now.
  18. If somebody asks you for your social security number, don’t give it to them!
  19. If you are paying high monthly insurance premiums for a lower claim deductible, you are pissing in the wind.
  20. If you don’t ever intend to help others, expect them to return the favor.
  21. If you don’t learn from your mistakes, you probably aren’t learning much at all.
  22. If you don’t dream, you will live solely as an entity of someone else’s dreams.
  23. If you are ever confused, don’t be afraid to ask questions.
  24. If you don’t listen to good music while exercising, you are missing out on the best part of your workout.
  25. If you are not happy, it’s time to change something.
  26. If you never stare off into the distance, you’ll never get there.
  27. If you dress a certain way, people will treat you a certain way.
  28. If you never try something new, your life’s story will be boring.
  29. If you aren’t in love, don’t settle.
  30. If you are overly emotional right now, make the decision later.

Playing safe is not an option if you want to experience the best that life has to offer.

Celebrate yourself and become more comfortable expressing your truth and your feelings about what matters to you. Living is risky business. There is always the possibility of hurt and rejection. In order to experience love, you will risk being hurt. In order to find success, you will risk failure.

Playing safe is not an option if you want to experience the best that life has to offer. Starve your fears. Decide to live beyond anxiety and doubt. Make what you want greater than what you fear.

Listen to your being. It is continuously giving you hints; it is a still, small voice. It does not shout at you, that is true. And if you are a little silent you will start feeling your way. Be the person you are. Never try to be another, and you will become mature. Maturity is accepting the responsibility of being oneself, whatsoever the cost. Risking all to be oneself, that’s what maturity is all about.

Do not settle!!

It is not in your spirit. Do not settle for living someone else’s life, or for believing that you should just survive. What you do to live and what you do to survive are two different things! Choose to live..really live. Playing small is not who you are!

You are called to live a GREATER life!! Do not settle for a place at the back of the line. You are more than able. You are a conqueror. You can come through this and have your dream. You have COMEBACK power!!
Be sure that those who stand beside you are positive, motivated and connect with your energy. Your closest companions help to influence your actions. You’re more likely to push through obstacles and take chances with the right encouragement.

Do your best, at all times under all circumstances and serve as a role model. And never forget to lift as you climb.

Free yourself from dysfunctional people.

Free yourself from dysfunctional people who are experts at meeting their own needs at the expense of yours. Do not let people stay in your life who trample on your feelings or behave badly. Set clear boundaries so that you do not get caught up their maze of madness, or feel responsible for their life choices or consequences. Live in your own story. Do not try to edit someone else’s.

Practice radical self-care, and work to maintain your peace of mind. Do something everyday that nourishes your spirit, opens your heart, and builds mental resiliency. It is your life. Live intentionally with purpose and passion. there’s no such thing as changing the past. The things that happened in the past have molded who we are today. It let us realized what kind of people we wanted to keep and let go. There will always be people who will remind us how much they hurt us, but forgiveness will allow us to move forward in life! And that’s what matters.
